Fully redesigned for the new model year, the family-friendly 2020 Ford Escape arrives with responsive and power engine options, a spacious interior, and an array of advanced safety and infotainment technologies. The Ford Escape is available in five trim levels: S, SE, SE Sport, SEL, and Titanium.
The Ford Escape gives you three impressive engine options to choose from. The standard engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder rated at 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SE Sport model steps up to a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 200 horsepower. It is combined with a continuously variable transmission. At the top of the lineup is an available 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an output of 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. It also is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the Ford Escape has room for up to five passengers. The second-row seats can slide back and forth to give you more passenger space or cargo space, depending on what you need. With the seats pushed all the way back, second-row passengers can enjoy best-in-class legroom with 40.7 inches. With the rear seats in place and pushed forward, the Escape offers 37.5 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats folded down, this expands to 65.4 cubic feet. The Escape comes well-equipped with technology to keep you and your family connected. The available SYNC® 3 system comes with a high-definition touch screen and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. You can even access an available Wi-Fi hotspot that allows up to 10 devices to connect at once. .
