The Jeep® Gladiator is a fantastic addition to the Jeep® lineup. It combines the fantastic off-road capabilities of the Jeep® Wrangler with the added versatility of a pickup bed. For the 2021 model year, the Gladiator has a new engine option. There are eight trim levels available this year: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Overland, 80th Anniversary, Mojave, Rubicon, and High Altitude.
All Gladiator models come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The new engine this year is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with 260 horsepower and a best-in-class 442 lb-ft of torque. The diesel is only available with the automatic transmission. It can be had on all but the Mojave trim level.
The Gladiator makes its mark in the midsize pickup segment by being the only Trail Rated® model available. This means it has unmatched rugged capabilities. Every Gladiator will deliver superior off-road performance with its standard 4x4 system. You can also expect excellent maneuverability, water fording in depths up to 30 inches, high levels of articulation, and good ground clearance. You can also count on the Gladiator for towing and hauling. When properly equipped, it has the power to tow up to 7,650 pounds.
Like all other models in the Jeep® lineup, the Gladiator comes with classic Jeep® styling. This includes the iconic seven-slot grille design and round headlights. The Gladiator also offers an open-air driving experience with removable doors, roof, and windshield. You will also find comfort in the family-friendly and versatile interior with room for up to five passengers.
The Gladiator may be focused on adventure, but it can also keep you connected and in control with a variety of technology features. The available 7-inch touch screen display includes both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ along with multiple USB ports. You can also equip the Gladiator with advanced safety technology including automatic emergency braking.
