The Mainstreet Bar is an American pub off of East Main Street that is open every day. On week days, it operates from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. On the weekends, it opens early at noon. While you are there, enjoy a delicious steak and friendly service from start to finish.

Outer Limits

The Outer Limits is a bar and grill off South Schooley Street. It provides many menu items for lunch and dinner. Tuesday through Saturday, it opens from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with special hours on Sunday and Monday. Taco Tuesdays and prime rib on Saturdays are local favorites.

Okoboji Store

Just nine miles away from Terril, the Okoboji Store offers a nice bar with a peaceful atmosphere from which to watch incoming boats. Its menu consists of burgers and chicken sandwiches, and its location also features a playground, table games, and a basketball court.

Maxwells Beach Cafe

Like Okoboji, Maxwells Beach Cafe is about nine miles away from Terril. It is home to fish tacos, cold beer, halibut, and non-greasy fries. For appetizers, it includes Italian nachos, seafood flatbread pizza, and calamari. Maxwells is open every day from 11:30 a.m. to midnight.
